The five participating designers were each asked to create three LBD inspired by Barbie, as part of the TFI New Labels Fashion Design Competition. Here is Hayley Gibson from Birds of North America interpretation of the classic.

The show opened with a Sleeveless silk goergette and charmeuse boatneck dress (with a large bow across back shoulder),
A simple touch of class, which was followed by more dramatic pieces. Check all the pictures plus an Exclusive Runway video after the Jump.
This Beaded pencil dress with strapless bodice and bow on back was simple a statement, but the Bow on the back was a great added touch of unexpected in addition to the beading work.
Hayley’s presentation came to a close on a high note with a crowd favorite – a Draped silk dupioni and gorgette full-skirted strapless dress – with pleated bodice and rosette covered bustle.
