Last Thursday was a highly fashionable evening for Montreal fashion enthusiasts.
While I played Fashion judge at the successful LBGTQ Model Competition, Montreal based French blogger Deborah Farinotti (from “Sur Ma Retine“) headed to the opening party of Montreal new Armani | Exchange store for us.
Armani | Exchange: a BIG opening!
The place: 1241 Ste Catherine West, the reason: opening of Montreal A|X new store.
Until last week, Montreal didn’t have its own Armani | Exchange store, yes hard to believe. But now ladies and gentlemen, you can get your Armani fix right downtown, without having to drive all the way to Laval – unless you want to.
Special guests and medias got treated to a preview of the brand’s new store and line, before the scheduled public opening the following day. The very talented Dragonette invited for a special performance got everyone in party mood. Fashion goers sipped on champagne while browsing through the beige and blue themed collection.
The A|X store is nicely decorated, very modern and sophisticated, and carries collections for both men and women. You can also find accessories such as watches, bags and even underwear.
The entire woman collection is very feminine, I spotted leopard, sparkles, blue and purple tones, and line of casual t-shirts adorned with sequins and glitters.
In addition to the fashion on display, the evening was a great occasion to spot some of Montreal top Fashion bloggers including L’aristocrate, Lolitta Dandoy, as well as Gabrielle Lacasse and Anik Lacasse pictured below.
Overall, a fun evening of fashion and few new items to obsess about, thanks A|X!
