Fashionable Celebration | Four Years Of @missSLY

miss SLY! turns four.

It’s been four exciting and unprecedented years since this Fashion & Blogging adventure of mine took off, and I never looked back.

So many things have happened since then, from conducting memorable interviews (a Joe Fresh moment), attending hundreds of Fashion shows, mentoring Fashion hopefuls, to meeting fashion’s most influential names such as Jean Paul Gaultier, miss SLY! has been quite the ride, and I still enjoy every moment of it, but most importantly, I continuously learn about the industry which is thrilling.

Such a milestone calls for a celebration don’t you think? In my opinion, a well deserved vacation/Fashion adventure is in order.

So, I am taking @missSLY (and you dear readers/followers) to…Brazil!!  

Yours truly won a trip to Rio De Janeiro via @ipanema_canada‘s last year, which I have finally managed to book. And because it is a trip for two, I have decided to bring my faithful assistant aka @missSLYGirl along with me, as a reward for her continuous effort and valuable contribution to date, she deserves it.

We are leaving this Friday, May 25 for 10 days or more (who knows), and will call Leblon (Rio’s most affluent neighbourhood) our home away from home while there.

Spending time away from the “usual and expected” is just what I needed, as I envision new possibilities for miss SLY! in the coming months.

So stay tuned for our live updates from Rio (still can’t believe it!), we will post tons of images on Twitter, Facebook and here of course, and hopefully no horror stories (fingers crossed).

From street sightings, fashion and art discoveries, shopping experiences, lifestyle to all things Brazilian, there will be plenty to share, so don’t miss any of it.
