In Fashion: Victoria Beckham Talks Business & Work Ethics

Victoria Beckham attended the 2011 WWD Retail and Apparel CEO Summit (15th Annual) in NYC last Monday, where she talked about the growth of her business, the aesthetic vision for her brand and work ethics, all while looking impossibly elegant, in her own designs of course.

Already on her 8th season, with multiple industry awards and many more accomplishments under her heels, Beckham’s success has without a doubt surprised more than one. And here’s what she had to say about it:

“I  was very aware of people preconceptions but I never went into the fashion industry trying to prove myself to anyone other than myself. I was just following my dreams, doing what I love: Empowering women.”

Beckham is in it to win it. She has worked hard to achieve her goals and continues to do so today, and it’s simply inspiring to see.

I want to build a business that is going to be here for a very long time. This isn’t just about a celebrity line that will come and go. I really want to build something that will stand the test of time.”

The key business tip that contributes greatly to her label’s success resonates strong with us, and we thought it was worth sharing with you all.

“Surround yourself with the correct experts to get everything done right.” - Victoria Beckham
