As an event planner, I love the glamour of fashion shows but I also love the craziness that happens behind the scenes.
My role during Ottawa Fashion Week is to report all of the madness that happens behind the runway. I will be running around backstage and reporting on trends, beauty, accessories, and of course, the clothes!
Ottawa definitely has an interesting reputation when it comes to fashion. I will be asking lots of questions and share what people are saying. Why is it important to host a Fashion Week in Ottawa? Can Ottawa reinvent itself and become influential in the fashion world? It’s time to put Ottawa on the map!
I’m excited to see shows from Ottawa favourites Rachel Sin and Kania Couture. I am also eager to see Travis Taddeo, who recently showed his collection at Montreal Fashion Week.
There will definitely be something for everyone at Ottawa Fashion Week and I look forward to sharing it with you. Stay tuned!
